About the Artist

I am a Studio Arts major at Lake Tahoe Community College. My work is meant to evoke an emotional response in the viewer. Working in oil paint, I harness the contrast of light and shadow, vibrant color, and carefully chosen subject matter to craft an image that pulls people in. The viewer should get lost in the artwork, feel the emotion being expressed, and leave with a perspective they didn't have before.

Based in South Lake Tahoe, California, I draw inspiration from personal experience, the beauty of the world, but also the darker parts of humanity.

My work has been featured in the Haldan Art Gallery at Lake Tahoe Community College.
